Available e-payment methods

Individuals and companies may tap on two new e-payment solutions – Electronic Deferred Payment (EDP) and EDP+ – introduced from 28 July 2025 to make deferred payments in place of cheques.

EDP and EDP+ complement existing e-payment methods like PayNow, FAST, GIRO and MEPS+, and can be used to make or receive payments.

EDP and EDP+ can be used to make deferred payments in place of cheques. They are available via the personal and business digital banking platforms of seven banks: Citibank Singapore, DBS, HSBC, Maybank, OCBC, Standard Chartered Bank and UOB. No sign-up is needed.
