Since 1978, ABS collates and publishes the Prime Lending Rates (“PLR”) contributed by member banks/institutions every Friday (or on the last working day of the week, if Friday is a public holiday), at or around 4.30pm. The rates are also submitted to the Press and The Business Times publishes the PLR in their Companies & Markets section (Page 7, typically) on the following Monday.

The PLR is the lowest lending rate which a Bank/Institution is prepared to lend in Singapore dollars to its clients on an overdraft or demand basis.

Bank’s/Institution's submission is on a voluntary and opt-in basis - should there be no advice received, the contributing Bank’s/Institution’s previous week’s PLR will be published. Please note that this publication page is overwritten weekly and no historical PLR data is archived.
